The Rajasthan Business Summit, scheduled for September 5–6, 2024, in New Delhi, is expected to explore the plethora of prospects that Rajasthan would face in the upcoming ten years. With the topic “Decoding Opportunities for the Next Decade,” the Economic Times hosted the conference, which aims to promote sustainable economic growth by utilizing Rajasthan’s rich historical background and modern entrepreneurial energy.
Rajasthan is reviving its worldwide role. Historically, it has been a major player in international trade and is renowned for its creative solutions to problems like COVID-19 through the “Bhilwara model.” The state is integrating elements of its regal past with contemporary culture, such as solar energy adoption, a focus on essential minerals, healthcare prioritizing, and the creation of alternative economic hubs. It is also encouraging cultural tourism and moving its people toward labor-intensive industries like manufacturing and textiles.
One of the summit’s main objectives will be a thorough examination of Rajasthan’s healthcare system. On the second day, there will be a grand opening ceremony and several talks about business potential in the healthcare industry. Renowned professionals like Neha Giri of Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation Ltd. and Dr. Manashvi Kumar of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare will participate in a pivotal panel discussion titled “Reimagining Pharma and Healthcare: Innovations, Challenges, and Future Directions.” The future of innovation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals will be discussed in this session, which ETHealthworld’s Prathiba Raju is moderating.
“Ensuring Health Assurance for All: Strategies to Achieve Universal Healthcare Coverage by Public-Private Partnership,” another important panel discussion, will concentrate on methods for achieving universal healthcare coverage through joint efforts between the public and private sectors. Dr. Rakesh Shah from Shalby Hospitals and Dr. Sandhya Sriram from Narayana Health will participate in the discussion, which will be moderated by Dr. Harsh Mahajan from Mahajan Imaging & Labs.
Dr. Sarvesh Agarwal of Rajasthan Hospital will provide insights into how digital health solutions might enhance healthcare delivery at the grassroots level in a follow-up session titled “Digital Health Interventions and Lasting Impact at the Grassroots Level: Challenges and Opportunities.”
The summit will come to an end with a fireside talk led by Prathiba Raju and featuring Shubhra Singh, Additional Chief Secretary for Medical, Health, Family Welfare & Panchayati Raj, on “Unleashing Rajasthan’s Healthcare Potential: Sectoral Insights and Opportunities.”
Ultimately, in line with the state’s vision for a successful future, the summit aims to promote cooperation, knowledge sharing, and strategic alliances to propel Rajasthan’s growth and development, especially in the healthcare industry.
