At Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh’s Varun Arjun Medical College, a tragic occurrence happened when Kushagra Pratap Singh, a second-year MBBS student, was discovered dead under strange circumstances. There have been questions over the cause of death since the 24-year-old student’s body was found behind the dorm where he resided. Ajay Pratap Singh, his father, has filed a complaint, denying any claims of suicide and claiming that his son was murdered.
When Kushagra’s father saw his son’s injuries, he became even more suspicious that foul play had occurred. When he asked for information and assistance, he said that the college administration was unresponsive. Ajay Pratap Singh claims that his son may have given money to other pupils, which may have contributed to the circumstances that led to his demise. His revelation led to further inquiries regarding the relationships and money dealings among the student society.
Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Rajesh S., the local police have begun a thorough inquiry. Seven students and the college supervisor are being questioned by the authorities in order to obtain information. As a possible explanation, they are also looking into the likelihood that the student is lending money to peers. The police are treating the matter seriously, considering the concerns voiced by the family, and have pledged that all possibilities would be thoroughly probed to ensure justice is served.
The principal of Varun Arjun Medical College, Colonel (Retired) Dr. Ravindra Nath Shukla, asserted that the administration had fully complied with the police. He said that after the incident was reported, the college administration was asked to leave the site so that an impartial inquiry could take place, and the police seized control. Dr. Shukla reaffirmed the university’s dedication to helping the police ascertain the circumstances behind the student’s death.
There are a lot of concerns regarding safety and openness in the collegiate setting after this horrific event. It will take an investigation by the authorities to determine whether the death was actually caused by suicide or foul play. The investigation’s conclusion will have a big impact on the bereaved family, the academic institution, and its pupils. The authorities will have to strike a compromise as the inquiry goes on between the necessity for a complete and in-depth analysis of the case and the expectations for quick justice.
