Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Celebrates 69 Years of Philanthropy: Rs 60 Crores Allocated for Healthcare Access

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Board of Management Dr. Ajay Swaroop spoke first, highlighting the hospital’s long history of supporting charity causes. In his speech, Dr. Swaroop emphasized the hospital’s charitable endeavors and some of its outstanding accomplishments. He stated that during the allotted time, the hospital had performed 2,647 free surgeries, given 20,078 free X-rays, 2,238 free MRIs, and 2,661 free CT scans. These figures demonstrated the hospital’s commitment to helping the most fortunate while simultaneously highlighting its technological prowess in providing cutting-edge medical care.

Dr. Swaroop also discussed the hospital’s future goals, which include adding 200 beds and creating a comprehensive cancer care center. The hospital’s dedication to improving its ability to serve the community and satisfy the changing healthcare requirements of the area is reflected in these expansions.

The vice chairman of the Sir Ganga Ram Trust Society, Mrs. Sujata Sharma, took advantage of the event to honor Sir Ganga Ram, the organization’s founder. She commended him for his generous donations and innovative leadership, which helped build the esteemed hospital. Founder’s Day served as both a celebration and a time to pay tribute to Sir Ganga Ram’s lasting legacy and the ideals he implanted in the organization.

A cultural show delivered by nursing students from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital brought pleasure and celebration to the event.
