IPHS established the standards for public health institutions’ hardware, software, and staffing levels. The goal of the spot food licensing project is to make doing business in India easier, especially for food vendors. Through the Food Safety and Compliance System (FoSCoS), a pan-Indian IT platform devoted to food safety regulation, this program enables the immediate issue of licenses and registrations.
