15 development projects in the Ernakulam district will be officially opened by Health Minister Veena George as part of the State government’s 100-day program. By improving healthcare facilities for a range of stakeholders, this effort seeks to meet the requirements of the local community. On Friday, the inauguration will start at 9:30 a.m. at Malippuram, which is in the Vypeen constituency.
Among the major undertakings is the ₹67 lakh construction of a new facility for the Malippuram people’s health center. Four major initiatives in Vypeen alone will be launched, demonstrating the government’s dedication to enhancing the local healthcare system. At an estimated cost of ₹35 lakh, the Munambam family health center will be upgraded to a Block family health facility. In addition, the Puthuvype primary health center has already been transformed into a family health center, significantly increasing access to medical services. The Nayarambalam family health facility will also undergo renovations valued at ₹53 lakh.
Two projects totaling ₹74 lakh will be initiated in Paravur. In order to better serve the community, the Varappuzha social health center will become a block health center. In addition, the Ezhikkara health center will be upgraded to a family health center.
Important facilities, such as a new labor room and emergency surgery theater at the Aluva district hospital, will be inaugurated in the Aluva constituency. In addition, the Minister will launch the Nedumbassery-Mullussery health center online, demonstrating a fusion of traditional and digital engagement in government operations.
In the Perumbavoor constituency, projects valued at ₹53 lakh will also be initiated in the Vengoor area, indicating the government’s intention to guarantee fair access to healthcare in all areas. Projects worth ₹77 lakh are scheduled to be initiated in the Kunnathunadu constituency, and two development projects in Piravom will be opened, both of which would improve the general quality of healthcare services in these areas.
The government’s dedication to enhancing public health infrastructure and ensuring that all citizens, especially those living in underserved areas, have access to high-quality healthcare is demonstrated by these programs. The state hopes to increase patient care, strengthen healthcare capacity, and guarantee that locals receive prompt and efficient medical attention by funding these initiatives. The launch of these initiatives demonstrates the government’s proactive attitude to resolving health issues and serving community needs.
