22-year-old Shrishti Sharma, a final-year medical student from Maihar, Madhya Pradesh, lost her life in a horrific accident in Russia. On Friday, a terrible event happened to Shrishti while she was on vacation with six companions. The automobile they were in reportedly had a wheel come off, which allowed a door to fly open. Shrishti died instantly after being flung from the car and dragged a distance along the road. The driver and the other passengers were amazingly uninjured.
At the Bashkir University in Ufa, Russia, Shrishti was a student eager to get her MBBS degree. Dr. Ramkumar Sharma and Mamta Sharma, her parents, were looking forward to her return. Her father had arranged for her to join him at his clinic in Maihar following her graduation; she was their only child. Her family was shocked to learn of her unexpected passing; they had last seen her when she was home for Raksha Bandhan.
When Zoya, a friend and fellow student of Shrishti’s, told her father about the incident, the tragedy became apparent. After thereafter, Kaleem, Zoya’s father, hurried over to Shrishti’s house to inform her family of the news. Shrishti’s parents were distraught to learn of their daughter’s passing; it is said that they both passed out.
Following the event, the government of Madhya Pradesh contacted the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to request help returning Shrishti’s lifeless remains to India. S N Mishra, the state’s principal secretary for homes, said they are in continual contact with the MEA to guarantee the body is returned as soon as feasible. The young lady, who had a promising future in the medical sector, passed quite suddenly, leaving her family and the community in shock.
The passing of Shrishti serves as a reminder of both the frailty of life and the significance of driving safely, particularly in unforeseen situations. The Indian government’s efforts to recover her body would provide some solace and closure to her bereaved family while they wait for her return.
